Rigging Specialist

At Bishop Lifting Products, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. As a Rigger, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient fabrication and repair of material, while upholding the high standards of quality and safety that our company is known for.

• Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies to meet the highest safety standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the proof testing of products to ensure their quality and safety.
• Ensure that equipment and tools used in the rigging department are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Perform other functions as required to support the team and achieve company goals.

• Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers.
• Prior experience in rigging or sling assembly is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy material to and from various parts of the rigging department.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• General computer experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
