Position Overview

This role is essential for the effective management and coordination of all front office operations within a medical practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates patient check-in processes, ensuring accurate collection of patient information and demographic details.
  • Inputs data into the electronic health record system and verifies insurance coverage.
  • Oversees daily functions of the physician's office, including management of medical records, front desk operations, accounts payable, and inventory of office supplies.
  • Conducts monitoring and auditing of cash and payment transactions.
  • Responsible for daily reconciliation of charges and payments.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory: High school diploma or GED.

Desirable: Completion of a medical office assistant training program.

Experience Requirements

Mandatory: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical office environment.

Certification Preferences

Desirable: Certification in healthcare management or administration.
