We are seeking a skilled Nursing Administrator to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise and leadership skills to drive operational excellence in patient care delivery.

Our integrated health system includes approximately 7,400 primary and specialty care physicians, 13 joint-venture outpatient surgery centers, and more than 30 affiliated community health centers.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee patient care delivery, throughput, staffing, and processes to ensure efficient and effective operations during assigned shifts.
  • Support, implement, and interpret the philosophy, objectives, policies, and standards for nursing care of patients and families.
  • Evaluate nursing staff performance and mentor, coach, counsel, and discipline staff as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing and master's degree in nursing or healthcare-related field or be enrolled in a program preferred.
  • 3-5 years minimum clinical nursing experience with some Charge Nurse/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse, Issuing Agency: Department of Health/Office of Professions in the state of New York.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Issuing Agency: AHA.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Issuing Agency: AHA, Within 12 months of hire.
