About the Job

This position is available at our Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center location in North Brooklyn. As a Staff Nurse Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver outstanding results.

Job Description

The Staff Nurse Clinical Lead will be responsible for:

  • Assessing, evaluating, planning, educating, and implementing nursing care of patients inclusive of medication administration.
  • Maintaining a safe therapeutic environment and ensuring the safety of patients going off-unit or off-site to diagnostic or therapeutic activities.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, such as daily morning rounds, treatment team planning, and quality assurance activities.
  • Conducting patient interviews, performing holistic initial nursing assessments on admission and discharge, and documenting in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Preparing and performing medication administration, conducting/co-facilitating nursing education groups, and documenting progress of patients in the EMR.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,500 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and pension plans.
