Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in San Antonio, TX. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you'll work closely with our primary care physicians, hospitalists, and network of employed/contracted sub-specialists to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
- Manage a caseload of 14 to 16 patients per day, with 30-minute visits
- Collaborate with our clinical support team, including RNs, LVNs, MAs, nurse educators, case managers, and clinic administrators
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new practice ideas and initiatives

To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
We're looking for candidates with:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- 1+ year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
