Fraud Prevention Specialist

Position Overview:
As a key member of the Fraud and Disputes division at PAYSIGN, Inc., the Fraud Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization against fraudulent activities. This position involves thorough examination of both internal and external alerts, reports, and the identification of patterns and trends associated with fraudulent behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
The Fraud Analyst will be tasked with the following essential functions:
- Conduct detailed reviews of suspicious transaction activities through regular reporting to assess account status.
- Monitor alerts generated by payment networks such as Visa and Mastercard, responding appropriately to identified issues.
- Analyze transactions to detect and understand fraud patterns.
- Engage in outbound communication with cardholders to confirm any questionable activity.
- Work collaboratively with the investigative team on reports of suspicious transactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Consistent attendance and flexibility in scheduling.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Education and Experience:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a fraud analysis role or a similar position, ideally within card services or financial services.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in an indoor office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. The role may require:
- Frequent sitting and the dexterity of hands and fingers for operating a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Walking and standing for extended periods.
- Lifting of items weighing less than 20 pounds.
Work Schedule:
The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $19.00.
