At Las Palmas Medical Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Surgical Services Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, ensuring that surgical procedures are conducted with the utmost professionalism and care.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering direct nursing care as assigned by the Operating Room Charge Nurse and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborating with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate surgical treatment plans.
  • Utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Coordinating with the surgical team, including physicians, to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery.
  • Preparing for surgical procedures and ensuring quality care throughout the process.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Required certifications to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Preferred experience includes two years in an operating room or critical care setting.
