$150,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Job

We are looking for a Mission Critical Structural Engineer with extensive experience in designing and managing projects from initial design through construction completion. The ideal candidate will have strong internal and external communication skills, advanced project management expertise, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage engineering and technician teams to ensure successful project completion.
  2. Oversight of structural design scope, coordinating efforts both in-house and with external consultants.
  3. Creation, monitoring, and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets for design.
  4. Serving as the primary contact for clients and contractors throughout design and construction phases.
  5. Development and execution of project-specific QA/QC plans.
  6. Support and mentor less-experienced staff, fostering their professional growth.
  7. Representation at project meetings, representing Martin/Martin during design and construction phases.
  8. Active building and maintenance of strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 9 years of progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year; passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year)
  • Proven leadership skills that support the company's long-term growth
