Senior Endocrine Surgeon

VCU Health - MCV Physicians is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Endocrine Surgeon to join our team. As an esteemed Clinical Faculty member, you will be responsible for developing a robust clinical practice at the VCU Medical Center and community satellite locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching surgery residents and fellows, as well as VCU medical students. You will also participate in clinical and/or basic science research relevant to endocrine surgery, with a focus on cancer disparities, translational oncology, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or cancer genomics.
We offer a competitive salary of $**250,000 - $350,000 per year**, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in general surgery
- Advanced training fellowship in endocrine surgery
- Commitment to outcomes, clinical and/or basic science research
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Record of external funding or proposal submissions to obtain funding
