Key Responsibilities- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.).
- Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
- Perform quality control in the plant as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports to the quality Supervisor/Manager.
- Overtime Authorization and Requirement - Unauthorized approval in advance of working overtime and repeated refusal to work overtime are violations of company policy.
- High school diploma/equivalent
- 1 year of Quality Control experience, preferred
