Who we are looking for
State Street is looking for strong Analyst with 5+ years' experience in business, system and data analysis for the Alpha and Middle Office Technology Team, which is part of Global Technology Services. This is a hands-on role for a candidate with a proven record of analyzing business requirements and map them to system and data requirements.
The candidate has experience in Financial Services, has supported Front/Middle/Back-office business units/clients, and has exposure to Workflow and Cash Processing. This is someone who has demonstrable experience in business analysis with an ability to translate requirements to system and data requirements for developers and testers. Candidate should have experience with various configurations, cross system data mapping skills and ability to test end to end functionality from end user standpoint. The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, someone with creativity and self-motivation to deliver on mission critical projects with tight timelines and competing priorities. This role requires to have excellent cross collaboration and negotiation skills to drive the projects to have successful outcomes
What you will be responsible for
  • Provide business analysis, system analysis, support modelling, data mapping
  • End to end understanding of the platform, navigations, setup/configurations
  • Under direct supervision, plans, organizes and controls the activities of cross-functional teams
  • Ability to perform testing and ensure the requirements are fully functional
  • Coordinate overall project communications, risks, and issues resolution
  • Under direction, manages end-to-end project budget, resources when required
  • Coordinate project tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate on time and on budget delivery
  • Coordinate communication with sponsors and management concerning the project status
  • Can also serve as manager of a release within a program
  • Identifies and uses best practices for processes
  • Clearly communicate both verbally and in written format
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitates a collaborative solution
  • This is IT role to bridge to fill in domain, business, solution, translate technical implementation knowledge between Product/Business team and Development - SQA team

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5 plus years of financial services experience
  • 5 plus years of Business Analysis experience in financial industry in the Middle office and Back-office systems
  • Experience working with JIRA, Clarity, Confluence, Agile framework is mandatory
  • Need to have work experience in contributing in Agile room backlog grooming, Story refinement, translate business use cases into Epics and roadmap
  • Must have hands on writing & executing SQL queries, creating reports
  • Experience/Exposure on technical integration services like API, Messaging (like MQ, Kafka etc), Cloud Computing, Databases, Data Warehouse, Data payload formats like XML/ JSON
  • Strong PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting software
  • Expertise with project management methodology and tools and experienced with budget and cost tracking
  • Working experience on BPM tool based (like Appian) applications will be much helpful
  • Scrum Master experience is a plus

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
