You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Lead the capital management process and 5-year vision at the site, not only driving capital efficiency and capital stewardship, but also ensuring flawless execution.Execute and support capital and non-capital enabled projects, working with local and corporate stakeholders.Drive capital efficiency by looking at alternative technical solutions and ways to improve costs to implement projects.Drive site efficiency by constantly looking at opportunities to improve safety, maintenance costs and productivity wherein the operating life of the equipment is extended, efficiencies are improved, and operating costs are lowered.Promote and role model a "Zero Loss and Zero Breakdown" mindset.Provide an environment that encourages creative solutions to technical problems, rapid reapplication of best practices, and a willingness to experiment and collaborate. Unlock value and execution excellence with the team by bringing new ways of working and developing technical capabilities in the relentless pursuit of driving exceptional site performance.
Work closely with the site team in building and executing against a master plan that enables improved performance.Work cross-functionally with the site leadership team, Capital Engineering, Reliability and Maintenance, Technical Services, Environmental Engineering, R&D and IT to ensure cross-functional alignment and meet company objectives. Accountable for the Progressive Maintenance and Initiative Management Pillars at the site.About You:You'll fit right in if you have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Technical field; advanced degree and/or formal project management training or certifications a plus.10+ years of progressive Technical leadership inclusive of leading a Maintenance and Engineering department.Adept at navigating in traditional Engineering and Maintenance support programs such as: AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP PM (or equivalent CMMS)Well versed in processing, filling, packaging, utility systems, etc., typically found in food manufacturing and breadth of experience in reliability systems and processes.Excellent capital management and project execution skills, with a successful track record of leading projects upwards of $3 - $5MM and setting an investment strategy for a site.Well-grounded in sanitary design principles, project chartering concepts, and processes deployed to ensure project startups are vertical.Operational experience with TPM principles (i.e., pillars, systems, standard work) is highly desired. Prior pillar-lead experience a plus.Important Information: This is a full time role, on-site in Cambridge MD.
