This position is part of a team that provides engineering and Information Technology services to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.Management of IT system infrastructure and any processes related to those systemsProviding support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devicesProviding problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Configuration and management of Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system softwareAdministering and securing network switching and routing devicesManaging and maintaining network security through the use of access controls and path managementImplementing, troubleshooting IT systems.Performing daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Providing Tier 2 / Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning.Configuring and managing Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software.Implementing operating systems enhancements improving reliability and performance.Providing detailed analysis and feedback to customers.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or 10 years of total experience with Security + Certification.Experience with:Implementing, troubleshooting IT systems.Performing daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Providing Tier 1 / Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning.Configuring and managing Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software.Implementing operating systems enhancements improving reliability and performance.Providing detailed analysis and feedback to customersPreferred Qualifications:Experience with:Windows Operating System (Server & Desktop)Exchange / Active DirectoryBasic network administration (Cisco routers/switches)Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)Working within a software development environmentAgile methodologySecurity Clearance Requirements:Currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
