What You Will Do:

  • Tasks include but are not limited to determine the appropriate courses of action and notifying AFIMSC/FM Leadership and Budget Analyst for consideration and action.  Provide additional support if requested from leadership or the budget analysts, specifically for PPBE. 

  • Update FM Suite with the status updates that are returned and provide detailed reports back to task initiator for closure. 

  • Work cancelling year funds to prevent old obligations from having to be paid with current year funds in support of positively impacting daily operations, decision support cost and over AFIMSC mission objectives.

  • Complete the quarterly Dormant Account Review (DAR-Q), the monthly MORD review, Dormant Obligations/Unliquidated Obligations, Open Commitments and Control Summary Records.


What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance; or higher

  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in DoD financial management

  • Bachelor's degree in in a business-related field such as Finance, Accounting or Business Management; FOUR (4) or more years of experience with advance approval from the contracting officer and concurrence of the technical COR can be used in lieu of degree


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Able to perform duties and functions independently.

  • Expertise with interagency/external relationships (Air Force, MAJCOM, SAF, HAF, Installations, and the Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS) is highly desired.

  • Knowledge of systems utilized such as:  AFM, CRIS, DEAMS, FM Suite, FRC, PIEE/EDA, EDM/EFR, PowerBI,  Advana and Microsoft Office Suite
