Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related engineering field. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/Responsibilities:Design, develop, and build new softwareModify existing software (C++, Java, Rust) to correct deficiencies and add enhancementsEnsure software standards are metWork with Systems Engineering team to test and verify requirementsMay act as software lead for smaller projectsMust-haves: Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceUnderstanding of Computer Aided Engineering toolsPractical knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience working in multi-disciplinary teamsFluency in object oriented languages like C++ and JavaExperience working in Linux environments and scripting languages such as BashExperience with Computer Aided Engineering toolsFamiliar with software testing best practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security ClearancePreferred: Experience with service-oriented APIs and message passingExperience with Git and CMakeExperience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated buildExperience with designing & developing software that interacts with hardwareProficient with data structures Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methodsKnowledge of Networking Concepts#Ll-hybridEstimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22.
