Job summary

Haweo LLC is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst with senior level knowledge of Supply Chains to provide facilitation and project support for a Department of Defense client. Serves on fast moving complex projects working to improve readiness across Naval Aviation and Maritime customer groups. May be responsible for executing one or more subtasks on a project.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Government military and civilian personnel to ensure scheduling of events and tracking of tasks within those events.
  • Utilize Government databases to analyze data to determine root cause(s) of supply support issues across Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
  • Facilitate discussion of logistics and maintenance issues that effect mission readiness of naval aircraft and maritime systems.
  • Document approaches and timelines of remediation activities to address logistics and maintenance issues
  • Support development of reports and recommendations based on the activities of the team
  • Capture notes and action items during events and follow-on meetings to ensure accurate representation of conversations can lead to actionable tasks by the customer.
  • Provide overall project management support with a dispersed team of subject matter experts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, and a minimum of 4 years' experience in supply chain management.
  • Experience working with senior staff and decision makers within DoD
  • Knowledge of the Navy aviation and maritime logistics enterprise, and understanding about logistics, maintenance or systems, services, and policies that serve aviation and maritime lifecycle logistics.
  • Organized, ability to capture discussions and actions items clearly, ability to collaborate with SME's on development of reports and presentations
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, managing project schedules, and multiple tasks concurrently
  • High competency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
  • Ability to obtain and keep a Common Access Card (CAC)



Physical Requirements:

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25lbs.
