In addition, we offer opportunities for career growth and professional development.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:• Operate hand, leg or foot activated valve to stuff sausage into casings or molds.• Position on sticks and hang product to trees or trucks.• Check and set proper stuffer controls. Select and position proper stuffing horn.• Soak and untie bundles of casings when necessary.• Service stuffers by bringing vats of meat to stuffer to dumpers and unloading meat into stuffer.• Place casings on horns of stuffers.• Operate stuffing machine, hang product, service stuffers, clean buckets, all part of rotation of jobs.• Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
