We are seeking a stellar compliance manager with operational experience in internet service provider (ISP)/telecom obligations to join the ISP Compliance team supporting Amazon’s Project Kuiper. Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.Working closely with the business, legal, engineering, and other teams, you will develop out-of-this-world strategies for handling compliance obligations in creative, business-centric ways that allow Kuiper to move quickly. You will serve as a subject matter expert and analyst supporting Global Service Compliance to implement system functionalities, create and operationalize policies, processes, procedures, and develop mechanisms to meet compliance obligations. You will be a key interface to stakeholder teams defining and delivering projects on time and under budget. You will be responsible for defining opportunities to remove complexity without adding risk for Kuiper. This position may be based in Bellevue, WA, or Arlington, VA. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
