The Judge Group is seeking a Test Engineer for a long term contract opportunity. You will be responsible for the testing of one of their global product lines at part of the Product Test DepartmentLocation: Fully Onsite - Needham, MADuration: 12+ MonthsKey Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing all testing activities for one or more products in development.Collaborate with the Test Manager to define testing requirements, ensure proper execution of test activities, and report resultsDesign and build new test fixtures, innovate in data collection and analysis, and communicate testing status to product teams.Take full ownership of testing activities for assigned products.Develop detailed test plans that include protocols, data collection methods, and pass/fail criteria.Work with test teams in both the US and China to coordinate testing requirements.Design, set up, and execute product tests, primarily on physical products, with occasional software validation.Identify and implement opportunities to automate product testing.Create effective and efficient test protocols with management oversight.Ensure proper consumer user experience through black box testing.Organize and report testing results to Test Team management and product teams.Procure materials and equipment necessary for testing.Learn to use new test equipment and document test protocols.Qualifications:Bachelor's (or higher) degree in an engineering fieldExperience testing physical products ideally in the CPG industryExperience with either Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and scripting languages such as Python.Ability to clearly document testing expectations for US and China resourcesEagerness to learn how to use new lab equipmentBasic understanding of statistical methodsClear written communication, especially in documenting workCompetency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) \t\t\t \t\t\t
