Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite)
As an Inventory Management, you will:
- Responsible for creating and tracking equipment shipments to and from customer sites.
- Supports spares inventories, parts management, and audits, plus general shipping for the team.
- Generates variety of standard reports.
- Manage quarterly spares audits within defined schedule
- Support / manage local shipping needs for various program needs.
- Coordinate/organize/track shipping and receiving within the program.
- Ship equipment to support customer requirements.
- May require support during off-hours and overtime.
- Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost.
- Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
- Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Verifies quantity, weight, a conformance of materials to stated identifications.
- Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bill packing sheets, and other documents.
- Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks upon receipt of internal certification.
- Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirement May perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Public Trust clearance
- Experience with an inventory management system
- Experience with MS Office tools (primarily Excel)
- Excel proficiency (Vlookups & Pivot Tables)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $18-$ 21 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
