Unit Description: Sodexo is seeking a Dietitian Nutritionist I for Naples Community Health Care System located in the beautiful sunny Southwest region of Florida, in Naples. This 716-bed system offers advanced heart, cancer, critical care, behavioral health, obstetrics, newborn and pediatric care. The Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to admitted patients of NCH Healthcare Systems. The primary responsibilities include assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutritional care plans and participating in patients/staff education and performance improvement activities.  This is a great opportunity for new RD's as well as experienced Dietitians ***Some Hybrid work is available*** Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal daysReimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000 tuition reimbursement annuallyThe successful candidate will: provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units; work every fourth weekend providing hospital wide coverage; perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and precept dietiec interns.  Is this opportunity right for you? Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
