Tier 2 Service Desk Analyst

Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring to support the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) IT Infrastructure Support Services (ITIS) program. Responsibilities: Experience in a complex Government IT environment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve HW, SW, network, and system-related problems. Proficiency in using ServiceNow to document, track, and manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up. Collaboration with other IT teams and vendors to resolve issues that cannot be fixed at the service desk level. Strong problem-solving and technical skills are essential, along with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users and explain technical solutions in a clear and user-friendly manner. Provide mentorship and training to Tier 1 service desk resources. Qualifications: Required: 3-5 years’ experience. Current ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner v.4 certifications.Desired: Current DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $57,000.00 - USD $67,000.00 /Yr.
