Call Center Customer Care Associate Medicaid
Location: ONSITE in Richmond, VA
$16.50/hr. & 17.50/hr Bilingual and Great Benefits
Training Class to start late August

Summary:
Call Center Customer Care Associate Medicaid. This is a great opportunity to learn Medicaid benefits, eligibility and claims analysis to assist Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers.

Hourly rate of $16.50/hour & 17.50/hr for bilingual starting on day one.
Standard scheduled. 8:30am – 5pm EST Monday through Friday, Weekends OFF

 Responsibilities:
 

Using a computerized system, responds to Virginia Medicaid member and provider inquiries in a call center environment using standard scripts and procedures.
Gathers information, assesses caller needs, research and resolves inquiries and documents calls.
Provides clear and concise information regarding eligibility, claim status and provider enrollment status.
Follows documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations.
Overall acts as an advocate for both Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are met.

 
Additional Duties as Assigned:

Verify documents and images.
Complete required assigned training.

 Preferred Experience:

Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance preferred.
Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge.
Call center or professional office experience.
Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is helpful.
Bilingual: Spanish speaking preferred

 Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to clear a background check and drug test

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated pay for this role is $16.50 per hour.
