The Quality Control Technician ensures that all internal requirements are met before our products reach our customers. This role is responsible for implementing written procedures, inspecting outputs, and identifying non-conformity issues. The position also involves monitoring quality control at the facility as directed by QC management.Responsibilities:Collaborate with production staff to implement quality procedures.Maintain product specifications and quality standards as per the HACCP plan.Recommend corrective and preventive actions where needed.Ensure compliance with SQF standards and federal and state food safety regulations.Monitor labeling compliance.Perform quality control tasks and review/complete records daily.Monitor and uphold quality KPIs.Perform other related tasks as assigned.Maintain calibration and records of quality control equipment.Conduct inspections across all stages of production.Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency to management.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Minimum of 2 years
experience in inspection and/or production.High School diploma or GED at a minimum.Results-driven with strong attention to detail.Demonstrated work ethic and integrity.Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to analyze and interpret information and recommend corrective actions where needed.Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.Must be computer literate.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekends as neededExperience:Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Night Shift (Required)Overnight Shift (Required)
