Apply for our Manager Emergency Services role todayJob Summary and QualificationsJob Summary: The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24 hour, seven day a week functions of a clinical nursing unit(s). What you will do in this role: Administers, plans and evaluates the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care.Develops goals, policies and procedures, prepares and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed.Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behavior What qualifications you will need: Florida RN licensure required· Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred · A minimum of one (1) year management experience is preferred What qualifications you will need:Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateRegistered NurseAssociate DegreeHCA Florida West Hospital is a 515-bed facility.
