What You Will Do:

We are looking for an DevOps Specialist local to the National Capital Region, who can engage our clients to support the network deployment, and operational sustainment that contribute to Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) mission adoption.  Primary and unique systems and tools include Okta and Entra.

The ideal candidate will directly drive, and or support the client and contract team to design, implement, and maintains Okta and Entra tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of ICAM and ZTA application capability in both the Product Development, and Sustainment environments.

You will work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error-free.

This role is crucial in bridging the gap between the client’s development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality ICAM and ZTA software capabilities. You play a vital role in modern software development, as you help the client achieve secure and compliant ICAM capabilities faster time to deployment, improved customer satisfaction, and increased operational efficiency. This role will be integrated into an existing group that supports Identity Management migration and adoption.

What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship is required and ability to obtain a federal clearance
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum THREE (3) years experience with using a broad range of cloud technologies (e.g. EC2, ECR, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, ELB, EFS, EBD, S3, VPC, SNS, SQS, SES, CloudWatch, Route 53) to develop and maintain a suite of client ICAM and XTA solutions with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
  • Core experience as a DevOps support Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS / Microsoft Azure environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with machine-generated big data searching, monitoring and analysis using tools such as Splunk.
  • Strong experience in the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube, Maven, TwistLock etc. Special emphasis on integrating the tools to form the pipeline.
  • Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
  • Strong scripting (e.g., CDK, CloudFormation, TerraForm etc.) and automation skills.
  • Integration experience and knowledge of both Microsoft Entra and Okta functionality, provisioning, and interface requirements.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Utilizing the Identity Management suite of products (CA IBM, Oracle, SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt) and of their design and implementation.
  • Advanced familiarity with ICAM concepts such as: Identity Governance, PKI, Single Sign On, Federation, Enterprise Directory Architecture, Provisioning, Role-Based Access Control, Access Request and Certification.
  • Advanced experience with API Gateways, identity federation protocols (SAML), LDAP, and programming languages (e.g., C, Java, SQL, etc.)

The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
