$19.60/hour JOB SUMMARY: Will work in various locations on production line, performing such duties as arranging/straightening chicken parts. JOB DUTIES:
Separate and sort chicken parts on conveyor belt.
Remove unbattered or seconds pieces from line and pack them as specified.
Prepare boxes for packers by staging boxes, bags and labels ahead.
Pack individual pieces in portion packs according to specifications.
Assist in changing work areas for different product runs.
Keep work area clean.
Job requires frequent repetitive bending, lifting and twisting throughout the work shift.
Assist in sanitizing area, as required.
Machine set up and operation in accordance with specifications and safety.
Regulations and complete required paperwork and entry into the computer.
Work in other departments or perform other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
