Ensures that all customers' expectations are met or exceeded.Plans equipment and determines rental requirements and maintenance needs. Implements and maintains operation of computerized on-board and navigation systems.Assumes responsibility for ensuring that Transportation operations meet or exceeds safety and regulatory standards. Maintain safety records for all drivers.Ensures that personnel understand and implement safety and regulatory policies and procedures.Effectively schedules, supervises, and directs Transportation personnel, ensuring excellent customer service and optimal performance.Promotes teamwork. Encourages employee involvement, suggestions, and problem solving.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in related field.Knowledge of transportation equipment and vehicle operations.Minimum of three to five years of experience in multiple stop dispatch operation.Minimum of three to five years supervisory and management experience.Experience with Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel and Power Point necessary.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status.
