Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.Responsibilities Manage the daily activities and operations of the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) team.Collaborate on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and system/performance measures.Manage development and implementation of new ideas that support project work streams and clinical teams.Monitor anticoagulation, electrolyte, acid-base balance and blood-gas composition values and adjusts ECMO circuit to maintain physician's orders.Generate and compile appropriate documentation and charges related to ECMO. Precept new team members.Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.One or more of the following required:Perfusionist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Why Join Our Team Ascension Seton, based in Austin, Texas, has provided thousands of associates and caregivers a rewarding career in healthcare since 1902.
