Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any hazards. Maintain high-quality standards for all products produced, ensuring compliance with company and customer specifications. Foster positive employee relations and motivate team members to achieve departmental goals. Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency. Monitor and control employee hours, including overtime. Provide ongoing training and development to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce. Interpret and communicate company policies to employees. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and quality. Analyze production and packaging issues and assist team members in finding solutions. Maintain accurate documentation and records, including HACCP paperwork. Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment. Collaborate with other supervisors and leads to coordinate departmental activities. Enforce standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in a production supervisor role.
Experience in the food industry, particularly with packaging cooked products, is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Experience with an ERP system is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
