Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant works within one or more production departments to provide routine admin support services to operations. The position may support routine office functions within the office, warehouse, production, QA, training & Development, production control or transportation. This is a great opportunity to join our team and help change the food industry landscape by supplying fresh and healthy eating choices.
Requirements
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the operation s administrative and staff support and responsible for a variety of assigned tasks including but not limited to the following: Job Description:May greet and direct office visitors, answer the main office telephone system, respond to direct requests for information, and forward messages to appropriate staff. May record and document non-employee visitors and guests to the facility. File a variety of documents such as invoices, create bills of lading, and supporting documentation through our paperless system. May receive, sort and distribute mail.Maintain office files, word documents, or spreadsheets. Write Memos, Letters, and documents as necessary. Completes routine data entry using varied software applications.Provided clerical support to the department manager(s) within established deadlines and routines.Perform other duties as assigned by the plant, department, or office manager such as scheduling appointments, interviews, or identifying contacts.Follows policies and procedures. Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time. Supports the organization's goals and valuesCompletes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.Participates in the picking process as business needs dictate and other duties as needed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent education is required.One year of office administrative support experience is preferred. Previous experience working in a chilled manufacturing environment preferred.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.Ability to write, read, comprehend, and speak professionally Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure Bilingual (Spanish / English) helpfulSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESAbility to learn database management systems.Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to follow general instructions and meet daily deadlines.Ability to ask questions, ask for clarification, and respond to questions.Ability to plan and forecast job demands efficiently.Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Ability to manage competing priorities, frequent changes, and delaysExcellent organizational skills. WORK DEMANDS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this Job work is primarily performed in a chilled environment. Regularly required to stand, walk, squat, stoop, bend, reach, talk or hear. Required to use hands and fingers finger, handle, lift, feel, push, or pull objects. Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently. Often required to lift and carry 10 lbs. force constantly to move objects. Exposed to chilled or warm temperatures within the operation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
