Second Shift (2pm - 11:30pm)Linen Operations ManagerManage the hospital’s linen program to support effective distribution, collection, and overall linen usage. Linen is one of the most overused resources in a hospital, and through effective management, you can support sustainability initiatives and drive cost savings for the facility to support an environment where patients can comfortably heal.Responsibilities Create, initiate, and manage linen-saving initiatives to support the effective use of facility resourcesSupport the facility’s linen budget through forecasting, planning, and executionProvide linen education to the EVS team, nursing, and other facility staffCollaborate with EVS leadership on training, regulatory compliance, and staffingMonitor and consult on linen distribution policies, procedures, training, and safetyProvide reporting and feedback to support customer relations and goalsServe as a liaison for regulatory, linen review, and operating committees within the facilityAssist with linen delivery and distribution within the facilitySkillsInterpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organizationCommunication: Effective written, spoken, and non-verbal communication as well as presentation skillsCustomer Service: Service-oriented mentality with a focus on exceeding expectationsProfessionalism: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor Proactivity: Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize projects and needsTeam Player: Willingness to collaborate and provide support where needed to achieve outcomesBusiness Ethics: Demonstrate integrity, respect, and discretion in all business dealingsOrganization: Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced environmentRequirements1+ years of operations/management experience, preferably laundry operationsAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidaysComputer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platformsMust be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities Not Required But a Big PlusExperience working in a hospital environmentKnowledgeable of regulatory requirements, such as OSHA and The Joint CommissionProficiency in languages other than English, especially SpanishWhat We OfferPaid time off (vacation and sick)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchEmployee assistance program (EAP)Employee resource groups (ERGs)Career development and ongoing trainingImportant to KnowTo comply with CMS mandates, all HHS employees working in healthcare must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption (medical or religious) upon start of employment.Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.HHS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion. Who is HHSHHS is a private, family-owned business dedicated to caring for its team members and providing honest, quality-driven customer service.
