Within in the Hudson Valley , this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing professional to lead and coordinate the hospital's Emergency and Trauma team. The Emergency and Trauma RN Program Manager is integral to providing structured care to injured patients and working towards achieving a Level II trauma designation as outlined by the American College of Surgeons. This role involves active participation in local and regional trauma committees, representing the hospital's program, and obtaining federal grants for supplies and training.

The well-respected hospital, with over 300 beds, is known for its commitment to high-quality patient care and community service. The Emergency Department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, making it a cornerstone of the hospital's services. 

Emergency and Trauma RN Program Managers will embody the role they hold, including serving as a clinical resource and assisting with staff education, data collection, and performance improvement programs. The manager will work closely with the Trauma Program medical director to develop and present programs to hospital administration and collaborate with EMS to enhance communication and teamwork, improving patient care.
