Position Description

*This position is contingent on contract award.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Responsible for integrating constructive and/or virtual simulations and network design requirements into the Army’s operational approach to planning. Serves as the Simulations lead on the MTC Exercise Planning Team during the exercise design process and must have intimate knowledge of the Army's Event Life Cycle and planning processes, simulation architecture and both simulation and tactical network architectures. Ensures the Training Audiences requirements, expressed as training and exercise objectives, are addressed by all branches of the MTC. Design and implement the Simulation Control Plan for simulation-supported collective training events and exercises.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Former FA57 or CP36 with minimum 5 years’ experience in military training and training support operations; Minimum 3 years’ experience within the last 5 years with military simulations and networks; Possess a robust understanding of the JELC planning methodology and MTC operations; Battalion or higher Operations or Training assignment or Civilian or Corporate equivalent; 2 years’ experience in Army MTCs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

BA/BS degree (Masters preferred)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Active Security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
