You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives.Location: This is a hybrid position based at our East Hanover, NJ HQ office with in-office expectations of minimum 2 days per week.Responsibilities & Outcomes:Build brand to drive penetration and share of market growth:Balance needs of consumer, shopper & customer to create clear, go-forward strategies for ZBAR brand, including strengthening its leadership position within the categoryTranslate strategy to execution via marketing excellence in purposeful creative and media development and activation Influence and guide innovation agendaLead and deliver annual planning & functional strategy. Own P&L and delivery of Annual Growth Goals Deliver commercial plans on commercial planning timelines, underpinned by robust insightsExecute commercial and marketing activation agenda:Partner across the organization to inspire, influence, and support execution of strategy for channels, foodservice, shopper marketing, omni & in-storeDesign and deliver renovation plan and execute price/pack architecture excellenceExecute Integrated Marketing plan, PR, Purpose & Design plans; improve marketing ROI & effectivenessPartner with R&D to champion brand quality and ensure active monitoring and remedy plansDrive team culture and develop pipeline of future leaders:Ongoing team engagement & 1:1 coaching and engagement to understand team member progressLead marketing community beyond immediate teamWhat you will bring:A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:Agility over PerfectionExecution with excellence and prioritizing resultsFollow through on commitment and persevere through challenges to find creative solutionsProgressive experience across business leadership, P&L management, brand strategy & positioning, and product portfolio managementPeople management and developmentMarketing and category leadership in a matrix environmentCross-functional, cross-geography program/project leadership and effective influencing of complex and senior stakeholder set-upLeadership and influencing skills with a focus on effectively collaborating across the organization including at executive levelEnd-to-end business models and algorithms and their translation into specific profit and loss linesCommunicating effectively, verbally and when presentingGrowth modelling tools, including consumer demand spaces, market and competitive analytics and financial reporting toolsMore about this roleEducation / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field required, MBA preferred.Job specific requirements:5+ years of progressive experience in Brand Management, working with large CPG brands (revenue of $100MM+)Creative and innovative mindset, ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quoDemonstrated understanding of the retail landscape/working with retail accounts (partnership, joint business value creation, etc.Travel requirements: Approx. 3-4 business trips per yearWork schedule:
