Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.Responsibilities:The candidate will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop solutions in the space war-fighting domain and will need to possess a broad understanding of space war-fighting operations and systems development. This candidate will work directly with business development and program managers while engaging with United States Space Command (SPACECOM) service and functional components.Must-haves:Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experiencePractical knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsFamiliarity with industry standards and best practices in systems developmentExperience working in and leading multi-disciplinary design and development teamsBasic understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V)Proven ability to conduct technical trade studies and provide guidance for developing solutionsRecent experience with Orbital warfare and senor integrationAdvanced understanding of United States Space Command (SPACECOM) mission and responsibilitiesAdvanced understanding of integrated systems for space control, ballistic missile defense, and ISRKnowledgeable of Space Command and control systems, Information technology systems,  Electro-optic Sensing, and Radio Frequency principlesStrong communication skills (written and verbal)The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret U.S. Security ClearancePreferred:Ability to apply technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.Experience in project definition, simulation, implementation, lab integration and test.Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniquesBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US MilitaryBasic experience with establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)Basic knowledge of requirements management and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)#Ll-hybridEstimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22.
