They will work closely with APL leadership and partners to provide routine and situational forecasting, analysis, and reporting that identifies emerging opportunities and challenges, ensures effectiveness of risk management activities, and enables organizational achievement of business objectives. As a Sr. Accounting Analyst...Your main responsibility will be to extract knowledge and insights from data and partner information to investigate, assess, interpret and prepare realistic and well-educated APL business reviews. Your technical savviness, attention to detail, and story-telling mentality will come into play as you efficiently connect information across multiple data sources (financial and business), integrate sound business logic, and deliver reporting/visualizations in order to tell the right story.You will lead treasury management activities, with focused attention on benefits accounting, to strengthen cash flow, minimize risks, and elevate return on investments, ensuring effective and sustainable financial operations. Your comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape is vital to providing well-educated information needed for thoughtful decision-making in the midst of changing market conditions and evolving business needs.You will provide thought leadership and deliver large and intricate accounting changes (GAAP, CAS, Benefits Accounting, etc.) and projects (evolving APL leadership strategic direction) that enhance user experiences, promotes cost efficacy, and contemplates organizational risk tolerance levels.
