Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Quality Assurance to lead a Quality Assurance department within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This is a senior leadership role, critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance
Key Responsibilities: 
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department, overseeing a team of 40 employees.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems that ensure regulatory compliance and product excellence.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
Conduct regular audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with all applicable food safety standards, including FDA, USDA, and other relevant regulations.
Continuously improve quality processes and implement best practices in QA methodologies.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformities.
Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing to align quality objectives with business goals.
Manage the department’s budget and resources efficiently to achieve operational goals.
Ensure ongoing training and development for the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting Line: 
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field (required).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
Deep knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP).
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing large teams.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience with audit processes and quality management systems.
