Overview: ConGlobal is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our location in Kansas City, MO As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you are responsible for assessing and repairing Heavy Duty Lift Equipment at the Railyard. We offer: Full Benefit Package – Health, Dental, Vision, 401k with generous match, Tuition Reimbursement, PTO, and more On the Spot Offers Competitive Starting Pay: $34.00 – $38.00 hourly, depending on experience. Responsibilities: ResponsibilitiesIdentifies problems with Mechanical, Hydraulic, Diesel, & electrical systems and perform repairsReads & understands Hydraulic schematics (Pumps, Valves, Motors, Filters, and HosesUnderstanding of Diesel Engines, Fuel Systems, & DiagnosticsAbility to repair driveline components (Axles, bearings, ring, etc.)Troubleshoots and repairs diesel engines (Cummins)Performs maintenance & mechanical repairs on side loaders (Loaded Container Handler), Hostlers (Semi Tractor), Forklifts, support equipment, etcMaintain routine maintenance schedules on all Heavy Terminal Fleet EquipmentWhat we offer:Competitive pay (willing to negotiate)Benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Career Advancement Opportunities Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:1-3 years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician experience requiredAbility to lift 50lbsPrevious crane mechanic experience not required but a plusHydraulic systems experience required (Pumps, valves, motors, filters, and hoses)Must have a Valid Driver’s LicenseAbility to work in various weather conditionsAble to work in a safety focus environmentPlease note: All positions require pre-employment background verification, physical review, and pre-employment drug screen.
