Unlock your potentialJob Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Lead Endoscopy Technician who will provide direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting while acting as a preceptor for all other Endoscopy Technicians. You will be assisting with the care of patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures.What you will do in this role:Assist with Endoscopy SchedulingYou will demonstrate knowledge related to the maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipmentYou will maintain a sanitary environment for the provision of patient careYou will prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure the availability of necessary GI equipment and suppliesAssist the physician with interventions as indicatedClean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next caseYou will demonstrate appropriate aseptic techniquesQualifications you will need:Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred2 years’ experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery centerPlease be sure to list current license information on your applicationSGNA Endoscopy Reprocessing CertificationValid BCLS Certification upon employment, online certification not acceptableLos Gatos Surgical Center is located in thecity of Los Gatos in Northern California.
