We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Los Gatos Surgical. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with endoscopy scheduling and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge related to instrument maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization
  • Ensure a sanitary environment for patient care and maintain aseptic techniques
  • Prepare the endoscopy unit and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure smooth procedures and interventions
  • Clean and prepare GI treatment rooms between procedures

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
  • 2 years' experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
  • Current license information required
  • Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
