Responsible for overseeing various aspects of compliance,including product safety, environmental regulations, quality standards, and industry-specificrequirements.Responsibilities:• Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related tobedding manufacturing.• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs foremployees.• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulatory requirementsand internal standards.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, andprocurement, to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.• Work jointly with stakeholders in the new product design process to ensure the designcomplies with regulatory compliance requirements.• Review product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance withsafety and quality standards.• Manage documentation and record-keeping processes to demonstrate compliance withregulations and certifications Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and certification bodies,responding to inquiries and facilitating audits or inspections.• Investigate compliance incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, andimplement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics, including productsafety, handling of hazardous materials, and waste management.• Monitor industry trends and developments to anticipate changes in regulations or standardsthat may impact bedding manufacturing operations.Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance management, preferably in the manufacturingindustry.• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to beddingmanufacturing, such as CPSC regulations, flammability standards, and chemical restrictions(e.g., REACH, Proposition 65).• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulationsand assess their impact on business operations.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaboratewith internal teams and external stakeholders.• Experience with conducting audits, inspections, and investigations, and implementingcorrective actions.• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and environmental managementsystems (e.g., ISO 14001) is desirable.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications fordocumentation and data management.Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, engineering, or businessadministration.Certifications / Licenses:Certification in compliance management (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is aplus. \t\t\t \t\t\t
