Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct site safety, health, and environment quality audits
- Inspect site activities for safety compliance
- Manage on-site corrective actions
- Share findings with supervision for follow up
- Intervene at-risk activities
- Provide on-site review and training if needed
- Provide consultation as needed
- Assist with incident reporting and root cause initiatives (injury/illness, property damage, etc.)
- Assist with reporting process
- Collect and verify incident reports
- Assist with the IA process and report
- Participate in industry conferences, programs, initiatives, etc.
- Provide safety training on company procedures and regulatory compliance
- Actively participate in self-development and growth
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental safety, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in construction safety or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, regulations, and construction site safety procedure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
- Pro-active with ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with a diverse team
- Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 30 Construction, CSP, CHST) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software
