Job Overview
Sr Analyst, Technical will use DevOps practices and tools to analyze and deliver predictable and repeatable solution design artifacts that enable continuous solution delivery by domain DevOps and operations teams. Join our team as a Sr Analyst, Technical in support of our transformation of our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology capabilities. This role blends technology, execution, and ownership to guide the development of an innovative Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) implementation at T-Mobile, including leading the conversion from an existing EPM applications to the Oracle EPM Cloud platform. Experience with Oracle Financials or similar Financial systems is highly desirable.

Senior Technical Analysts support multiple systems and business domains defining comprehensive solutions of moderate to high complexity. You'll coordinate with developers, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure our Oracle EPM modules not only meet but exceed your customers' expectations. Job Responsibilities:

Solution Analysis and Design
  • Leads in defining domain technical roadmaps with architecture and leadership. Takes ownership of functional scope analysis and detailed solution design of the processes/systems within domain for each project assigned.
  • Partners across domain IT teams for alignment and impact analysis. Proactively reviews domain for risk and mitigations before they become critical. Continually keeps stakeholders, management and project managers advised of team activities and work-plan status.

Project Leadership
  • Identifies and communicates project risks, team activities and project status to team leads, project managers, and leadership.
  • Identifies improvements to project efficiency, speed and quality within domain and makes recommendations to team leaders.

Facilitates sessions to solicit and document requirements (e.g. creation of user stories).

Technical Writing & Communications
  • Translates business requests (Customer Journey's, EPIC's, or Business User Stories) into technical user stories, system diagrams, and low-level design documents.
  • Assists in the development of design specifications and deliverables that support system functions and enhancements.


Solution Planning
  • Leads analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs within domain for projects with moderate complexity.
  • Collaborates with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, provides education on potential process and system solution options, and drives business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities.


Leadership
  • Serves as mentor to assist less experienced peers. Leads contractors and manages their day to day activities.


Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered. (Required)


Work Experience:
  • 4-7 years Related work experience. (Required)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated success in advising matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams.
  • Collaboration experience to translate requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
  • Financial system implementation experience in a lead technology role.
  • Financial system operations and/or administration experience in a lead technology role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders. (Required)
  • Knowledge and experience with integration patterns, with Oracle OIC, API's, and protocols such as REST, EDI, SOAP, etc.
  • Fluent with SQL, Power BI, other analytical solutions like SAS, SPSS
