Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control Oversight:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical installations to identify and address quality issues promptly.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to establish and monitor quality objectives.
2. Document Management:
Maintain comprehensive records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
Ensure that all project documentation related to quality control is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to project stakeholders.
3. Training and Education:
Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
4. Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that materials and equipment meet specified quality standards.
5. Client Engagement:
Interface with clients to address quality-related concerns, answer questions, and provide updates on quality control initiatives.



Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical contracting with a focus on quality control.
Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, NFPA, IPC/IMC, TAS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
Experience in semiconductor and/or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
Experience inspecting welds (with or without certification) is a plus.
