Job Title: Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at our client sites, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, including Security Officers and Lead Officers
  • Ensure compliance with post orders, established rounds, and required reports
  • Coaching and disciplining personnel as necessary, seeking advice from management as needed
  • Train and develop security personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company
  • Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions, in conjunction with company management
  • Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required
  • Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
  • Meet with client representatives to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred
  • Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and procedures
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
  • Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
  • Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions
  • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in challenging situations
Working Conditions:

The Security Supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stressful situations. The ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, keyboarding, and basic computer usage are essential. The position may require working overtime without advance notice.
