Responsibilities
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the following: CANES, ADNS, CENTRIX-MME, SCI-N, SubLAN, ISNS
- Provide OJT instruction on TACNET operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to program management.
- Support new system installations, integrations, and upgrades.
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair products/equipment.
- Establish testing protocols and standards, providing training and guidance to engineers and technicians.
- Test interoperability of systems, measure transmission/outputs, troubleshoots and resolves issues, and maintains detailed evaluation and repair reports.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex functional problems that impact function's success.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education, English, Psychology or related training systems discipline.
- Working towards Training Certification in Navys Basic Instructor Training (either NEC 805A or 9502) or a current industry standard trainer certification, such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).
- Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) qualified in 12 months.
- Seven (7) years of professional training experience, to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.
- Hands-on experience with Navy Shipboard Networks to include CANES, or other TACNET systems. -Experience should include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Network Administration, System Administration, Technical Documentation, and Training.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated expertise in C4I Networks and System Administration. Technical Training in TACNET, or other Navy C4I systems Administration and Maintenance.
- Active Secret Clearance
