Title: Desktop Engineering Architect / EUC Engineering Architect

Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite)

Duration: Fulltime

In this role, you will be an Individual contributor for SCCM/Intune, Modern device management, OS Imaging/Deployment and Patching.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement SCCM and Intune solutions for modern device management.
  • Develop comprehensive OS imaging, deployment, and patching strategies.
  • Must be familiar with Modern workplace Device Management.
  • Must have strong hold on Application Packages and VMWare.
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and processes.
  • Lead and manage large-scale deployment projects from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
  • Monitor and maintain SCCM and Intune environments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OS deployment, application delivery, and patch management.
  • Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and patching processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices for modern device management.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for client IT staff.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for all deployments and configurations.
  • Generate reports on deployment success rates, compliance, and overall system health.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Workstation, Server & VDI patching.
  • Building and maintaining desktop images, producing, and employing Group Policy Objects (administrative templates for Intune) to manage the environment.
  • Deploying designing, deploying, managing, and configuring virtual and physical workstation environments using Windows 10, etc. using Zero Touch or Lite Touch or User Driven Installation capabilities.
  • Desktop application deployment, including building packages to install Office or other LOB corporate applications.
  • Role Based Access controls (RBAC) assignments for different Intune roles
  • Conditional access management and deployment
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting. Additional skills on Python or other coding experiences are advantage.
  • Work with OEM vendors for auto pilot registration and zero touch deployment.
  • Must be well-versed with Power BI report generation and customization.
  • Must be well versed with Windows Server and client level OS troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Active Directory Management, ADFS, SSO, Rest API, AAD Sync, DNS, DHCP.
  • Working experience & good understanding of Azure and AWS cloud services is a must.
  • Complete understanding and experience in ITIL processes.
  • Other skills like MS Defender or similar tools is preferred.
  • Experience into IAM tools and Privilege Management tools ( Beyond Trust, Quest, Okta, Ping Identity etc..) is welcome.
  • The candidate should be a self learner and no time for training.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor s or master s degree, MS 365 device management & ITIL certifications.
  • Experience in IT, with a focus on SCCM and Intune.
  • Workstation and Server patching using SCCM
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows OS deployment technologies (WDS, MDT, Autopilot).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and related cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
  • Experience/knowledge on Windows Defender implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge on reporting using end point analytics and power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Should be a thinker and leader rather than just a doer.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability in setting up and handling SCCM and Intune environments.
  • Design, implementation, and experience along with SCCM
  • Good knowledge on Azure active directory and its integration with Intune/ Endpoint manager, CMG (cloud management gateway), CMD cloud service and CMG connection point.
  • Experience in implementing Windows Hello, Auto Pilot etc.
  • Good knowledge in scrips by using PowerShell to reduce the human efforts, cost and improving efficiency.
  • Open to cross-skill to other technologies per the business requirement.
  • Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager deployment for CMG implementationteams and stakeholders.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$60,000 to $75,000].
