We are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Architect - Azure Infrastructure candidate for a role on one of our prime Federal projects in Arlington, VA. Federal Client Requires ship

Responsibilities

  • Develops specific solutions as a hands-on, senior member of the implementation team
  • Collaborate with other architects on the program to devise solutions for complex technical capabilities
  • Research and integrate system architecture strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
  • Resolve complex hardware/software compatibility, interface design and performances considerations.
  • Research emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.
  • Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.
  • Provide technical guidance and work leadership to engineers.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant technology as relevant or assigned.
  • Create roadmaps and white papers as needed.
  • Brief Customer and Client leadership teams as necessary.


Required Education, Certifications + Experience

  • Federal Client Requires ship
  • BS in a related technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) + 10 years of related architecture and/or software development experience, or MS in a related technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) + 8 years related experience.
  • 5+ years of full stack architectural experience
  • 3+ years of successful technical leadership.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud computing.
  • Experience utilizing Azure infrastructure and managed services, including networks, VMs, storage, databases, and containers.
  • Demonstrated experience with infrastructure as code and immutable infrastructure approaches to systems management.
  • Ability to mentor other team members and help grow them as technical subject matter experts in your areas of expertise.
