Dexian is seeking a proven Solution Architect II (Custom Development) to be responsible for architecting and designing modern lightweight architecture (LWA) Applications. This is a System Architect position that will architect both the server-side and client-side custom development, maintenance, and deployment of applications. This candidate will work with multiple teams, such as engineering, product owners, development and architecture teams, to ensure the development and deployment of applications and tools within the Custom Development Department. This role will report to the Sr. IT Manager in this space.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Design and Architect efficient Microservice APIs and author event based micro front-end code and provide technical documentation
  • Understand business requirements and has ability to analyze requirements, create Jira stories, document possible solutions, and come up with high-level architecture and design.
  • Architect modern light weight UI solutions using Micro Front ends that comply with OAuth standards
  • Has experience in developing event driven Microservice architecture
  • Possess deep skills in traditional relational databases and NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB.
  • Hands-on experience in working on public cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
  • Configure and Manage Cloud Solutions such as Azure Spring Apps, Azure App Services, Azure API Connection, and Azure function.
  • Hands-on experience in working on public cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
  • Has experience using CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Nexus, Jenkins.
  • Reviews development designs and provide feedback to development teams.
  • Coordinate with external vendors who are supporting the Application Development


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 8+ years of experience in Application Architecture and Solution Architecture role, including extensive hands-on in development of modern Cloud based custom Applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, industry certifications, and relevant experience.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud.
  • Supply Chain and Merchandising domain experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in API Gateway, Design Patterns. Extensive exposure to DB Technology such as Oracle, PL/SQL, Query Optimization, Shell Scripting.
  • Experience developing back-end code in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.
  • Extensive experience in code review, working with diverse resources spanning time zone.
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of Cloud Computing and CI/CD Tools such as bitbucket, Jenkin, QTest, SonarQube.
  • Familiar with modern development practices (Agile methodology, DevOps, and Continuous Integration / Deployment).
  • Experience in Cloud and On-prem automation using CloudBees (Pipeline as code, Infrastructure as code), Terraform, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira/Confluence, Nexus, Maven and Ansible
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to analyze and creatively solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to work in a group setting and independently.
